COMIC-CON. THURSDAY. NOON.

They’ve announced it, so I will too.

On Thursday, July 23, at Noon, Comic-Con will be featuring one of North America’s funniest and most innovative cartoonists, Bryan Lee O’Malley for an hour of conversation, and I have the best seat in the house—right on stage with him. Cue up early at Room 5AB to make sure you get a seat.

BTW: The whole family and I will be at Con as usual, but this might be my only official appearance, since I’ll mostly just enjoying the sights. I’ll let you know if anything else comes up.

  1. Goddammit, it’s like… I don’t know. The most awesome panel ever this year so far and maybe for a while too.

Seriously, I love this. It pains me A LOT that I’m not going to Comic Con this year. 🙁

Blargh. This is why I should’ve acted early and picked up the pass for the whole show. Sorry I’ll miss it, but have fun!

  3. Steve Mackin says:

Tell him to hurry the hell up and put Book 6 out. This is the biggest cliffhanger since “Who Shot JR”!!!

  4. Josh says:

Dear Mr McCloud, sir. Would it be at all possible for someone (perhaps of your acquaintance) to be talked into filming this and putting it online for the world to see? Because a lot of us can’t be at Comic-Con, but we’d truly love to catch this.

  5. Matthew Marcus says:

I figured this is comic news, so it would fit in this thread:

New book about Bill Watterson AND you can also download the first chapter FREE!

  6. […] of course, for those of you going to Comic-Con you can find me Thursday at Noon interviewing Mr. O’Malley on stage, and otherwise relaxing with the family this year. (Yay! Off years = no pressure). If anything else […]
