Travel Update: Houston, Philadelphia, and South Bend

I’ve updated the travel sidebar with upcoming trips to University of Houston, Philadelphia’s Germantown Friends School, and Indiana University South Bend (not to be confused with the Bloomington campus where I visited last Fall).
Philly is in-school and not open to the public, but both Houston and South Bend are public lectures. South Bend is even selling tickets already.
I’ll also be at UX London this May and Comic-Con of course. I’ll post details on other upcoming talks as they come together.

Only students can attend the Germantown Friends School lecture?
I’m assuming, yes. We’re doing two lectures to get the whole student body in.

Scott since your going to London, try to find the drink making robot that I keep hearing about but never find. It is told to be near the London Bringe at a bar/pub called Cynthia’s.

Yep. It’ll be the ever-evolving main presentation. Lots of images going by pretty fast.
Wow! I saw your name listed for the IUSB forum calendar and thought, “Wow, Understanding Comics Scott McCloud? Awesome! Wait.. surely not, this must be someone else with the same name…” I’m delighted to find that it is indeed you!
I referenced your work for my Senior Project in high school. 🙂 I put a lot of effort in working toward a career in sequential art, til finally conceding that worsening arthritis in my hands would make me far too unreliable of an employee and too limiting for continuous independent work. Now I’m an Anthropology/Archaeology major with a propensity to doodle and sketch when possible. 🙂
Do you know if you will be able to linger and chat at all with students after the lecture?
